It’s emotional too. At least it was for me.

That’s a really fun idea
It’s nice to see gaming covered in NYT at all. The article generally rings hollow to me. I’m not an industry expert, but:
Star Trek always had some levity. And all the other new Trek has always felt too serious - they’ve been constantly saving the Federation/humanity/Galaxy/universe. If they need to make a funny show on order to tell a funny story, then give. Go for it.
So pretty. How was it?
Some classics in there for sure. For those that haven’t played it, Oni was a quiet favorite of mine from around then. I don’t think it got a lot of attention at the time, or even today. This was Bungie near the end of its Mac-first pre-Halo era.
You might like The Orville, too.
I loved Lower Decks, and I hope somehow those stories continue. Did people who are new to Star Trek enjoy it, too?
As an aside, I think that was something that made Prodigy fantastic: it was a serialized program with episodic stories that didn’t require any understanding of Star Trek beforehand. The main characters weren’t part of the Federation, so the audience got to learn alongside them.
🙂 I’m slowly working through SC. You might like [email protected] if you aren’t there already.
The original version (or is it the first remake?) is still on Steam and runs great. I just finished it a few months ago.
Does redoing the graphics of a relatively modern-game make it worth $60? I’m interested in understanding the perspective of folks that are planning to buy.
Wow some of those mods sound very fun.
Edit: mostly the total conversions and new story mods get my attention. Bringing TIE Fighter into X-Wing Alliance? Yes, please.
I don’t know that there is anything left in borderlands if you take out the toilet humor…
I never played 3, only 1 and a little of 2. Does anyone have a good video recommendation on how severe the problem is in 3?
As the article says, since his comments were run through machine translation, it’s possible they’re meant more in jest rather than seriously. I’ll keep a charitable perspective on this until we learn more.
With how built up the apps are these days, and how much data they collect and upload back to corp HQ, it’s good to check and confirm the performance impact.
That looks almost but not quite like Platinum (Mac OS 8) :-)
If it’s any consolation it wasn’t home lab enjoyers. It’s probably online AI opportunists who don’t care about it at all.
I don’t think this was written by a person. The webpage rambles, repeats itself, and contradicts itself. It includes some weird phrases and says things like “* Home Assistant Green Plan costs $99 with 32 GB of eMMC Storage.” lol what plan, that’s the hardware cost if you want a box that is ready to run HA.
I also don’t think HB and HA are comparable like that. This writeup is much shorter and better: https://www.wundertech.net/homebridge-vs-home-assistant/
I’ve never seen them in an Indian restaurant. Mom makes them very well. Sorry!
Nice! Try the Indian version next. Nargasi kofta. So yummy :-)

Free is free. If they’re making a bunch of money off ten year-olds and their moms, I’ll take their giveaways. If I get something free from Epic and I really like it, I’ll buy it on gog too.
