The issue I have is that all users see the same music (all of it). I would like to be able to “disable/enable” songs/albums per user

The oldest release I see is 5800 days old and the newest is 4 days old. So people keep reuploading stuff if it’s popular enough. (I still can’t find some episodes of Ben 10 tv show lol)

Footnote2669@lemmy.zipto Technology@lemmy.world•Apple Patent Hints At Foldable iPhone With Self-healing ScreenEnglish0·1 year agoCan they actually do „nothing new”? We’re talking about a patent here that they were granted. Aren’t patents by definition about something new?
Footnote2669@lemmy.zipto Technology@lemmy.world•Apple Patent Hints At Foldable iPhone With Self-healing ScreenEnglish0·1 year agoI don’t think they mention any material specifically, only „materials with selfhealing properties”. They leave it „open to interpretation” lol
Footnote2669@lemmy.zipto Technology@lemmy.world•Apple Patent Hints At Foldable iPhone With Self-healing ScreenEnglish0·1 year agoI’ve read through the above Samsung patent and the Apples one. The one main difference I found was that Apple is talking about a heating layer between the other layer in the display that can initiate the selfhealing process. I haven’t see a mention of such thing in the Samsung patent. Plus, Apples patent doesn’t seem to go into detail regarding the materials of the layer, only that it can be made out of „suitable materials”

Footnote2669@lemmy.zipto Piracy: ꜱᴀɪʟ ᴛʜᴇ ʜɪɢʜ ꜱᴇᴀꜱ@lemmy.dbzer0.com•Replace Torrenting with UsenetEnglish20·1 year agoSabnzbd is free, you can install anywhere basically. The rest is not free unfortunately, someone has to host the files, as there are no peers in usenet. I think some, if not all, providers and indexers can be paid with crypto or even mailing them the money by post.
Provider is €50 a year. Indexers are around €10 a year, but there are lifetime subscriptions for some.
In return, you don’t need a VPN, download speeds are stable and there is no seeding.
Out of 220 files downloaded, I only needed torrents 12 times, rest is usenet.
Read up on benefits of one over the other before switching :)

Actually… you’re f right. Why do I create problems for myself, just add everything to one pot and let users fav/star the ones they want and use the “Favourites” folders. Thanks
