We are all normal people and realize that blowing up a bridge with cars or people on it is not allowed. It would be great if motorists understood this and did not kill hundreds of people with their cars every day

AnotherWorld@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•How valid is the claim that people coming or going to blue sky/mastodon/X/Truth Social will cause echo chambers to increase? is it bad?English0·5 months agoBy bots, I mean people who are employed, go to work, and get paid just for writing comments, posts, and other texts, according to the orders from their superiors. You can call them a computer program, but what they are not is a person with a certain and different point of view. They have no point of view, they write what they are told to write, and yes, there are thousands of them, and they each lead a hundred fictional people. If you still didn’t know how the bot farm in Russia works, welcome to a new world

And I have the right to have mine. And so, when all of Twitter is full of russian bots on the government payroll, there are hundreds of thousands of them, in all languages, I’m not kidding and not dramatizing. What i supposed to do about it? Read it all? Or retire to the echo chamber? I’m withdrawing, for now here, and if anything, from social media

For some reason, everyone thinks I’m obligated to read their opinions that disagree diametrically with mine, constantly, non-stop, from hundreds of thousands of bots working for propaganda. I don’t.
AnotherWorld@lemmy.worldto Technology@lemmy.world•Bots are running rampant. How do we stop them from ruining Lemmy?English0·8 months agoNo current social network can be bot-proof. And Lemmy is in the most unprotected situation here, saved only by his low fame. On Twitter, I personally have already banned about 15000 Russian bots, but that’s less than 1% of the existing ones. I’ve seen the heads of bots with 165000 followers. Just imagine that all 165000 will register accounts on Lemmy, there is nothing to oppose them. I used to develop a theory for a new social network, where bots could exist as much as he want, but could not influence your circle of subscriptions and subscribers. But it’s complicated…
Warm, the cat really liked to warm his nose among the lamps, lying on the speaker
It’s just a great iron thick case from the UPS, there’s a supply transformer from the amp 😏
Yeah, but we were celebrating HER birthday! 😁
Yeah, I think I had a five digit, but I’m not sure
