That’s the last two generations. Still doesn’t change that Extreme Overclockers don’t care about that, and have OCd them to 9GHz.

Didn’t think Fandom had it in them. Very nice move, although my time watching or listening to GB are probably over.
I think I edited about a minute after posting the comment, before anyone replied, but kept the general meaning.
I tried and failed to make a joke.
Yes, I was trying to make a joke, since you read it so often, that games on Steam always have DRM.
How can this be?! I thought games on Steam had to have DRM.
If you pay 1.3k for a motherboard, you’re into Extreme OC (or extremely dumb), and probably don’t really care that they’re worse than AMD for gaming or whatever. At 7.5GHz the only thing you’re running is probably CPU-Z to validate your score.
I think the OW team was already pretty good in that regard, and Jeff Kaplan tried to “protect” them, even if that didn’t always result in the best decisions for the game.
The Slayer has been activated.
Love that line.
I don’t think so. They deny it, so who knows. There’s also the exploit allegations, that were mentioned in this thread, but there’s just no source for anything.
This got rejected from Steam in January and the C&D was in March, but in between that Valve updated their Source SDK to add all TF2 source code, so it’s not like they’re completely anti-mod.
As usual, Valve doesn’t communicate with anyone, so who knows what’s going on there.
People are saying the reason is that they used/worked with leaked CS:GO code, which Valve doesn’t like, but the devs deny it.
30-series was only the 3050 on x8, but 40-series it was 4060 and 4060 Ti (all three 4.0). I’d be surprised if it was x16, since Nvidia likes to cheap out on these things more and more over the years
Same, but sometimes a co-op game for me as well, to play with friends.
It had 2.4 million players at launch on Steam, so I guess a few people played it.
Just take one of the other gazillion GOTY awards. there’s bound to be one that’s just right for you.
Finished a run in Windblown.
The Germans united to get the Simulator game to the top, so they can work in a game, after they get home from work.
The Steam Awards are mostly just “what’s my favorite game” or “which game have I heard of” for all categories. It doesn’t matter if the game fits or not. For Wukong it’s additionally “where was the game made”, since it’s one of the few high profile Chinese games (outside of China) and Steam has a lot of Chinese users.
I haven’t played yet, but the music in the trailers wasn’t that special.
Imma be honest though, while the music in 2016 and Eternal is great on its own, in the moment, while fighting, I really didn’t care, and was more concerned about surviving and blasting demons. I just re-played Eternal, and I couldn’t tell you a single music track that I remember.
Edit: Just finished the first level. By default, the sound effects are so loud, that I barely hear the music during a fight, which is fine by me. Just like in the previous games, outside of combat it’s mostly ambient and no music.
