Kamala’s campaign wasn’t fucked because she’s a woman, it was fucked because she’s a careerist who doesn’t believe in anything.

So I’m not a medical professional, and I didn’t speak out of an abundance of caution while making an offhanded comment on a shitpost. Sue me.
You’re a bad person and you should stop pretending your selfish disposition is natural and immutable simply because you’ve noticed others are too. There are reasons people behave the way they do and those reasons can change.
And conversely, not everyone is you. Weed has particularly variable effects, I know it might not work for my grandma, but as I see it it’s worth a shot if the alternative is opiates. She’s only unwilling to try it because she grew up being lied to about cannabis and thinks it will make her crazy. She’s even afraid of CBD.
Honestly wish I could convince my grandma that weed would be better for managing her arthritis pain than the opiates her doctor has her hooked on.
Of course, and stereotypes are not tolerated in many contexts. For example, I’m a white-collar worker and I’m pretty sure that I would have serious problems at every job I ever had if I said or did something racist at work (or even outside of work if it became sufficiently public).
This depends heavily on where in the US you live/work. In the more conservative rural areas racism is tolerated so long as you’re not screaming it from the rooftops or wearing it on your sleeve. I have the appearance of someone who most would assume is very conservative so people feel far too comfortable being total racist shitbags around me.
Why do people engage with anything that makes them uncomfortable? Horror? Tragedy? It’s just morbid curiosity. It’s not a bad thing, really. Any exploration of the human condition is incomplete without a look at the darker side. Some need more light in their entertainment to help the medicine go down, and that’s OK too.
American Libertarianism is an anti-establishment ideology that’s been captured and twisted to support the core principle of the establishment, private property rights. At this point it’s nothing more than a sick joke.
Use your ship log, it’ll remind you of all the clues you’ve found so far and how they connect together. But I agree it’s better to play continuously without large time gaps to keep everything you’ve learned fresh.
Pearl-clutching is unbecoming of you, cut it out.
We already had our enabling act, the Supreme Court presidential immunity ruling.
They’re just pals, nothing to see here.
Lefty redneck here, looking forward to receiving my free horse.
The fantasy is the competent opposition to all of those things.
It’s because he maintained plausible deniability, no bribes or kompromat necessary. Fact checkers couldn’t definitively say he supported project 25 because he feigned ignorance.
Kentucky’s state constitution has uniquely strong protections for public school funding, and amendment 2 nullifies all of them in one go.
Here’s the wording:
To give parents choices in educational opportunities for their children, are you in favor of enabling the General Assembly to provide financial support for the education costs of students in kindergarten through 12th grade who are outside the system of common (public) schools by amending the Constitution of Kentucky as stated below?
IT IS PROPOSED THAT A NEW SECTION BE ADDED TO THE CONSTITUTION OF KENTUCKY TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
The General Assembly may provide financial support for the education of students outside the system of common schools. The General Assembly may exercise this authority by law, Sections 59, 60, 171, 183, 184, 186, and 189 of this Constitution notwithstanding.
I genuinely think most KY voters don’t know what notwithstanding means, if they even bother to read that far.
I think it’s important to note that although there is definitely a trend of young men being radicalized through the “manosphere,” young women are so overwhelmingly progressive/liberal that gen z is still significantly more progressive/liberal overall than previous generations.
They’re too out of touch to realize this hurts Kamala Harris’ campaign more than it helps.
Even worse, the liberal candidate who previously ran against him for the presidency and won is the one who appointed him chancellor in an attempt at appeasement. It was shortly after that the enabling act was passed that gave the chancellor supreme power.
Hitler was handed power by a liberal “reaching across the aisle,” with the thinking that he would just prove himself incompetent and lose support.
He was also a Nazi. Many such examples of Nazis being into weird pseudosciences, especially ones having to do with innate biological characteristics.
