Except I couldn’t give a fuck about Nintendo games. Never played ‘em and probably won’t ever want to either.

Source?
Not the point.
Good for you?
I’d argue that this still tracks in Dutch or German.
For fuck’s sake, stop making company/product names that are homophones of normal English words with “creative” spelling.
“I bought a mikroPhone the other day”.
“Oh, I didn’t know you sang?”
“…what?”
There’s a genre called Adult Visual Novels which can be a more … refined experience. Not so much games but more like illustrated choice-driven stories. Some may include mini-games or other game-like aspects.
https://f95zone.to/forums/games.2/ filter by VN or Completed and sort by descending rating. The first couple pages are full of excellent examples. However, note that a lot of them are still being developed and may only release updates once or twice a year.
You can find a lot of these on Steam, itch.io or on the developer’s Patreon page.
It’s a CAD format in that the files contain object descriptions instead of meshes (like OBJ). But the format does not support all of fusion 360’s features so it is a lossy export in that respect.
TI isn’t in the business of marketing and selling these types of devices to hobbyists etc.
Just curious what your issue with raspberry pi is?
The Instant Pot is actually great at cooking rice using the pot-in-pot method: put a plain metal bowl with your rice and water (usually 1:1 ratio) in the Instant Pot on a wire rack and add about 1 1/2 cups of water to the Instant Pot. Steam for 10 minutes for white rice. Perfect every time.
Ah yeah, rubber gaskets! I totally forgot about those. With today’s manufacturing capabilities it should be possible to create super-thin gaskets without affecting product design too much.
Something I don’t understand about the anti-glue sentiment: how do you make a device waterproof without glue or sealant?
This likely originates from the Before Times when universities would have a full time sysadmin who would often write some of the software for the computer system/network at the university. See Bastard Operator From Hell for an example.
I modded Fallout 4 on SteamDeck by running Vortex in Desktop mode using Steam Tinker Launch. I recall it being a little finicky to find all the right paths etc. Some googling should lead you to a guide for running Vortex on SteamDeck.
That was actually pretty easy to setup.
I installed SyncThing on my Windows PC using https://github.com/Bill-Stewart/SyncthingWindowsSetup and set it up to monitor a folder which contains the non-Steam games I want to sync to my SteamDeck.
On the SteamDeck, in Desktop mode, I installed the SyncThingy app via the package manager and followed the instructions to set it up as a service that starts at boot time, so it will even work in Gaming mode.
Once that was running, I went through the process in SyncThing to synchronize my PC and the Steam Deck, which does take a few clicks and confirmations on both the PC and the Steam Deck, but after that it just started copying the game folders automatically.
After a game had sync’d to the Steam Deck, I added it to Steam, switched back to Gaming mode and played it for a bit. After saving my game, I checked on the PC to see that the save files that added to the game folder on my Steam Deck also now showed up on my PC.
Fantastic list! I’m gonna try out SyncThing this weekend 👍🏻
As somebody who has been trying to decided which of the RAW photo editors to use, I can tell you that Darktable has a steep learning curve over Lightroom. The UI is incredibly dense and the names of sliders don’t make sense unless you’re an image science expert.
