It was the first videogame I ever heard talk. And full disclosure, 5 year old me, thought it said, “destroy him my-rin bolts”. It wasn’t until years later, my dad actually corrected me.

I always set the last button to the TV guide channel. It made it less suspicious if they saw the channel change. Or at least that’s what I reasoned.

I had a similar trick. If I set the VCR to channel 4 and the TV to channel 3, it would shift all the cable channels down one. So Cinemax which was channel 14 and blocked would come in as channel 13 completely clear.

I wish my cat would do cute things like that. When she wants to eat she just sits by the door and gives me a death stare. Then if I don’t notice her after a bit she’ll tear around the house like mad while making the fox em noise from Robinhood Men in Tights.

I lost 7.5 lbs in one night due to that stuff. I went to the doctor because I kept having diarrhea. Turns out I was so constipated the only thing that could make its way out was liquid. I drank a bottle of that stuff and 45 minutes later…well…you know that one scene from Dumb and Dumber? Yeah, that was me for like an hour and half straight.

My cat is the very definition of a cat, totally aloof, fiercely independent, kind of an asshole. She only acknowledges my presence when she wants to eat. She loved to bait the dogs and get them in trouble for chasing her. No guests in our house have ever seen her. The only times she even allows me to pet her is when she has a mat she wants me to get out.

The only exception is with my daughter. She absolutely loves her. As long as no one else is around she will love all over her. This picture was from about 2 years ago when my daughter got a nasty cold, and she watched over her the entire time. She even turned around and yelled at me shortly after taking this picture because my daughter started having a small coughing fit.

As someone who lived in a neighborhood without an HOA, I completely agree with this. I had so many bad experiences with the neighborhood without the HOA. Aside from people not taking care of their yards or houses, including one person who replaced their grass with laminate tiles, there were much worse things.

There were constantly cars parked up and down the streets blocking your view and making it impossible for two cars to pass. We had two neighbors feuding over parking in front of each other’s houses. One of them decided to line the curb with cones. And the other would just leave their trash can out 24/7 blocking the curb.

I had a neighbor start a computer refurb business out of their garage. Which caught on fire at least 3 times. One time it caught on fire and there were so many cars parked on the street the firetrucks couldn’t make it to their house.

The neighborhood I live in now has the perfect balance. The HOA is run by a 3rd party who does not live in the neighborhood. And all rule changes require a meeting and at least half of the residents need to be in attendance before it can be taken to a vote. This keeps one neighbor from taking things over and turning into one of those nightmare HOAs you always hear about.

I agree that forcing you to create an account for a single player game is stupid and annoying. And they only do that on the PC version. However, I can never recommend RDR2 enough.

I bought it because I had just finished GTA V and wanted more. Some told me RDR2 was like GTA with horses. But it is so much more than that.

It is now my favorite game of all time. I’ve done 2 complete playthroughs on PS4 and recently started another on PC. Once I finish the PC playthrough I plan to start messing around with some mods.

I’m the opposite right now. Grew up on TNG, just finished SNW and Lower Decks and now I’m watching DS9 for the first time.

I’ve played around with a few of them. I’ve found LM Studio the most robust and user friendly.

My wife is not very spatial, but enjoyed playing coop Portal 2, for a little bit. Once we got to the stage where I was just telling her where to go or stand the entire time we stopped playing together.
