Well, it’s either that or he’s failed upwards in a historically unprecedented way. At minimum, he’s put people in charge of SpaceX and Tesla that are both effective at managing those businesses and managing him to keep him from screwing up.

Blue regions might develop that solidarity. In red regions, seems less likely.
